Watershed, my current photographic series, ties together the varied waterscapes I’ve explored over the last several years. Lush and penetrating videos and photographs focus on the essential serenity of our upland watershed, delivering a tranquil vision of enigmatic beauty. I explore the opulent colors, organic forms, and primordial layers I find in wetland habitats. Through the medium of photography, I emphasize the strange beauty and wild grandeur of these isolated places. My abstracted and decontextualized compositional strategies result in images full of chaos and mystery.
